Clinical Challenge
During surgeries and critical care interventions, fluids such as blood and secretions often accumulate, obstructing the surgeon’s visibility and posing risks of infection or extended operative time. In intensive care units (ICUs), patients with compromised airways also require reliable suction for safe and effective management. Hospitals need a suction device that provides high flow, safety, and continuous operation.
Our Solution: BioVac 60 & 90
BioVac systems provide a comprehensive solution to these challenges:
- High suction power: Maximum vacuum of -675 mmHg with flow rates of 60 LPM (BioVac-60) and 90 LPM (BioVac-90).
- Continuous duty cycle for uninterrupted operation during long surgical procedures.
- Triple overflow protection (jar valve, hydrophobic filter, safety trap bottle) ensures unmatched patient and staff safety.
- User-friendly dashboard and complete accessory set for smooth operation.
- Antistatic castors with brakes for safe mobility within operating rooms and ICUs.
- Compatibility with cannula holders and medical rails for versatile application.
- Quiet operation with noise levels around 51.7 dBA, improving the clinical environment.
How It Works
BioVac devices use an oil-free piston pump to generate rapid vacuum buildup and continuous suction. During use, fluids are aspirated through the cannula and collected in 5L jars. The hydrophobic antibacterial filter and safety trap bottle prevent contamination and overflow, while the clear dashboard allows clinicians to monitor suction parameters easily.

Benefits
- Improved surgical field visibility, reducing operative time and complications.
- Enhanced patient safety with triple protection system.
- Increased efficiency in ICUs for airway secretion management.
- Reduced maintenance costs due to oil-free piston pump design.
- Mobility and compact design make it suitable for both ORs and ICUs.
Executive Summary
BioVac-60 & BioVac-90 are advanced surgical suction devices engineered to deliver maximum efficiency, safety, and ease of use in both operating theatres and intensive care units. Designed with a high-performance, oil-free pump, BioVac ensures uninterrupted suction during surgical procedures, enabling clinicians to maintain a clear operative field while reducing the risk of complications. Its mobility, safety features, and compatibility with multiple accessories make it an essential solution for modern hospitals.
